Nick Marsh

Consultant

Nick is a Consultant in ACIL Allen’s Perth office. He is an economist specialising in public policy and economic analysis across a range of sectors including resources, infrastructure and health services.

About Nick

Nick has experience conducting research, data analysis and stakeholder consultation to explore complex public policy problems, support business strategy and assess the economic viability of major project proposals.

Nick’s recent project experience includes:

  • economic contribution assessment of the Port of Port Hedland for the ten-year period between 2023-24 and 2032-33
  • independent assessment of the economic impact of planned defence infrastructure investment in the Northern Territory and the capacity and capability of the local construction industry to meet this demand
  • economic contribution assessment and development of a strategic policy framework for the Western Trade Coast, a globally-significant industrial precinct located in Perth, Western Australia
  • supporting the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries on the development of the inaugural Western Australian Screen Industry Strategy and the business case to support Government funding for the Strategy’s key initiatives 
  • economic contribution assessment of international students in Western Australia 
  • economic and social contribution assessment of Ichthys LNG in the Northern Territory

Nick has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and Honours in Economics from Curtin University.
