Sophie Jamieson
Senior Consultant
Sophie is a Senior Consultant in ACIL Allen’s Melbourne Office who brings a combination of consulting rigour and hands-on government experience to her work. She helps clients cut through complexity, translating evidence into strategy and turning policy challenges into practical, lasting reform.
About Sophie
Her expertise spans a wide range of policy domains, including health and wellbeing, education, environment, food systems, and agriculture. Whether designing evaluation frameworks, navigating complex stakeholder landscapes, or advising senior decision-makers. Sophie's approach is grounded in careful analysis and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for communities and organisations.
Sophie's recent experience includes:
- Evaluating government initiatives across health (nicotine dependency, family violence prevention, suicide prevention), education (STEM, early childhood), and environment (drought preparedness, biosecurity)
- Advising government clients on policy challenges and opportunities for program improvement
- Designing evaluation frameworks that measure both program outcomes and community impact
- Managing multidisciplinary, hybrid teams and coordinating stakeholder engagement across government, NGOs, and community organisations
- Supporting local governments to develop and implement strategic food systems and environmental strategies
Sophie has a Bachelor of Food and Nutrition and a Master of Dietetics from Deakin University. Sophie is a qualified Dietitian.
