Sophie Jamieson

Senior Consultant

Sophie is an experienced consultant with a background in health and wellbeing, education, and food systems. She specialises in food and nutrition policy, program evaluation and the provision of strategic advice. She is also experienced in the design, delivery and review of programs and policies in the environment and agriculture sectors.

About Sophie

Sophie is experienced in project management, stakeholder engagement and qualitative research. Her work focuses on improving outcomes for individuals and communities and collaborating with stakeholders and senior executives to enhance service design and delivery.

Sophie’s recent experience includes:

  • evaluating state government initiatives to improve gender equity and prevent family violence
  • assisting local governments to develop and implement strategic food systems, environment and urban food growing strategies
  • evaluating programs to improve food security and educational outcomes
  • developing and implementing school-based student health and wellbeing policies.

Sophie has a Bachelor of Food and Nutrition and a Master of Dietetics from Deakin University. She is a qualified Accredited Practising Dietitian who has taught diet and health, food systems and food movements in the Bachelor of Food Studies at William Angliss Institute.
