05/08/2024
ACIL Allen was commissioned by the Western Australian Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, with the Independent Brewers Association, South West Brewers Association and Western Australian Brewers Association, to develop a ten-year strategy to bring together all parts of the craft beer supply chain to drive the industry forward in a unified and sustainable way.
The strategy outlines a comprehensive pathway for all stakeholders in the West Australian craft beer industry, including brewers, ingredient suppliers, business service providers, retailers, wholesalers, and transport and logistics providers to achieve the industry's vision of more people, from more places, experiencing and enjoying Western Australian craft beer. The strategy framework is based on five strategic priorities and ten strategic initiatives, all aimed at achieving the outlined vision, mission, and goals.
Industry engagement was a key component throughout the strategy development process to ensure it aligns with the requirements and aspirations of stakeholders. The result is an industry-led strategy that provides a clear direction for the Western Australian craft beer industry today and for the next ten years.
