A new study by ACIL Allen finds economic diversification and climate action can be achieved through gas-based downstream industry development in Western Australia.
ACIL Allen was commissioned by the Western Australian Government’s LNG Jobs Taskforce to undertake an independent study investigating the opportunities and barriers for establishing new gas-based downstream processing industries in Western Australia.
The study reports 19 findings and seven recommendations for consideration by the WA Government across gas availability, project-ready industrial areas, government assistance and government project facilitation capacity.
