Raymond combines strong economic credentials with over 25 years direct experience in economic development roles in government and the private sector.

About Raymond

Raymond has extensive experience in the development and implementation of public policy across a broad range of sectors including, industry, trade, further education, employment, economic development, science, technology and energy.

Prior to joining ACIL Allen, Raymond was a Chief Executive in the South Australian Government for 11 years establishing the Department of State Development and was Chief Executive of the Department of Further Education, Employment, Science and Technology and previously Chief Executive of the Department of Trade and Economic Development.

As an executive he led significant policy and economic reforms including in vocational training and oversaw major organisational changes aimed at enhancing business performance and efficiencies.

Raymond has had extensive corporate governance experience including as Advisory Board Member, Committee for Economic Development of Australia, SA, Board Member, Resources and Engineering Skills Alliance, Board Member Education Adelaide and Ausenco Limited and is currently an Advisory Board Member of Marcellin Technical College.

Raymond holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from Flinders University.
