ACIL Allen was commissioned East Timor Hearts Fund, an Australian medical NGO dedicated to providing life-saving heart surgery in Australia and Timor-Leste for young people from Timor-Leste, as well as heart-health education, prevention, and research projects. The project involved conducting a social impact study of ETHF activities focusing on efficiency, sustainability, impact, accountability, effectiveness, and reputation. The approach was supported by a Social Impact Analysis Framework which utilised a comprehensive review of financial operational governance and client data, reinforced with consultations with key stakeholders.

A summary report including high-level findings is available via the ETHF website.
